How to Prevent More School Shootings

A 16-year-old youth shoots another student at a school in a small town in Oregon. A young man who had stopped taking his psychotropic medication so he “could feel the hate” decides to shoot random students at Seattle Pacific University. Even President Obama appears to have reached his limit as he laments his inability to convince Congress to pass gun legislation to reduce such incidents in the future.  (For the full article, click here)

CARF Survey Completed: SMH maintains accreditation with CARF through annual quality updates and periodic on-site reviews.  A survey team from CARF International visited SMH in September and completed their review.  For more information, you can read the CARF announcement about the survey here.
